TheForkUserbirthday lunch with mum and the syn was shining so wr got to dine in the courtyard which was beautiful!! the food was delicious we had 3 course from a set menu and shared everything between us bar the sorbet. the wild mushroom starter and the watermelon starter was so tasty I could have eaten it all day long!!

TheForkUserSix of us spent New Year’s Eve having a truly delicious meal in a really relaxed atmosphere. Matt our server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. A big shout out to the barman - the pineapple spritz was a delight! When we had finished our meal we moved into the bar area and saw in the New Year with some live music (excellent guitarist!). Make this your choice for next New Year - we will certainly be back. Thanks to all at The Mill!

TheForkUserIt has been a few years since we last visited Carluccios, and boy, have we been missing out! It's every bit as good as we remembered it - great food, great ambience, friendly and efficient service. The only disappointment was that they were out of stock of Chiant, so we had to settle for our second choice of wine - but that was fine. We're looking forward to visiting again soon!

Your staff were courteous and as the restaurant was quite full, we received excellent and fast service. 2 of my family were visiting from Australia and they were impressed with everything. TheForkUserIt was our very first visit to The Star, won’t be our lady I may add.We both had pork belly and have to say it was without doubt the best we’ve ever had, no horrible greasy fat just all meat! The Eaton Mess and Creme Brûlée was to die for.All in all a very pleasurable experience.

TheForkUserI use Toby quite a lot. Recently I've noticed that we have no sooner finished our meal that the staff are bringing the bill. It has all the feel of a production line. I could understand if the Toby was busy. When I booked on line we were given 2 hours and only used half this time.Stop rushing to move people, take a breath.

TheForkUserWe visited the real Greek in Reading after our daughter’s graduation. Wanted to go somewhere a bit different & this was a great choice. Waiter was attentive and offered assistance with choice. Excellent vegan choices for the 4 vegans on our party. Food was really good & very tasty.

TheForkUserMeal for a family of 4 after a visit to Tapnell Farm, staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. Drinks arrived promptly, food not long after. Recommend The Matador burger for me, the chicken wrap my daughter smashed, hotdog demolished by my son, and hubby had the big smoke burger which he enjoyed. Recommend to visit but booking is advisable to get a table no matter what season

TheForkUserI haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

The food quality was good and my Muslim guest was able to find items that her religion permitted. Helpings were generous and well presented. The restaurant was clean and attractive with local art on display. The Farm Shop was well stocked with quality products.

When ordering from the steak night menu you get a complimentary bottle of the estates Pinot Noir, which accompanies the delicious steaks nicely.The service is great and ambience is chilled. Really like this place having discovered it recently for Mother’s Day. This was our second visit with many more to come.
